Dear fellow Lincoln families,
I am thrilled to announce that the 10th annual Lincoln Winter Market is happening this year after a covid hiatus!
Saturday, November 26th, 2022 from 11-4
Lincoln Winter Market is a vibrant fair for local artists and makers, showcasing handmade goods created by Lincoln students, their families, and community members. There is something for everyone with 65 vendors, an inspiring kids market, food and drink from local businesses, and busking musicians.
This market was started by Make Olympia in 2010 and became a school-sponsored community event operating under the guidance of Options Community Council, our school’s governing body. It is always the Saturday after Thanksgiving, and is located at Lincoln in the gym, cafeteria, and play shed. Vendor fees go to Lincoln’s school programs
This is my last year at Lincoln (sob, sniffle) so I need someone to organize alongside me this year and learn how to coordinate for the 2023 market. Are you looking for a way to get involved? This could be your thing!
In addition, there are tasks available for all types of commitments, days/times, and levels of involvement – promoting, staffing the command tables, 5th grade fundraiser, parking, set up, clean up, and roving help. Lots of help is needed, so please reach out with what type of work you’d like to do and I will match you with a task.
For volunteering, please contact Christa Richardson at firstname.lastname@example.org.
You can score locally handmade goods, enjoy live music, and sip a hot beverage or munch on yummy bites. This is a popular Olympia event!
VENDORS and BUSKERS!
Lincoln students have a kids market in the cafeteria, food and drink vendors are in the play shed, and all other vendors are in the gym or play shed. Busking musicians will be located throughout the market.
You are highly encouraged to participate in this lively market by vending or busking!
