The Options Community Council is the governing body of the Options Program at Lincoln School. The Council also acts as the board of directors of the Options organization. Options (the publisher of this web site) is the non-profit organization created to suport the education of children in accordance with the Options philosphy, overview, goals and curriculum as outlined in the Options Handbook and the Options Design for Learning II (ODL II) work plan.
Parents are always invited to attend Options Community Council meetings. If you are thinking of becoming a class representative or are interested in a position on the council and want to get a feel for it - just come! Positions for council open every year in May. A list of council positions and their job descriptions are listed on pages 12-19 of the Options Handbook.
Council meetings occur on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at 6:30pm-8:30pm in the library. Committee meetings are held each month on the 4th Tuesday from 7:15 pm-8:30pm.
